Originating in Europe, north Africa and Israel these pear-shaped heads dance upon tall, thin stems. Appearing green with purple tips that floods through and saturates the entire flower with it’s colour by the end of July.

Looks good with long grasses and dries well for winter arrangements.

For best performance plant in full sunshine. Allium sphaerocephalon is an undemanding species tolerant of summer rain.
