Allium 'Summer Drummer' is a wonderful choice for sunny borders. Growing up to 2-2.5m tall this soft mauve variety stands on upright stems and works beautifully in amongst ornamental grasses in naturalistic and prairie planting schemes.
This allium will also make an excellent cut flower or provide architectural structure in the winter months.
For best results, plant bulbs in fertile, well-drained soil at a depth of 10-15cm.
