This aster resembles a michaelmas daisy and bears an abundance of lavender blue daisies .This hardy perennial is useful for filling gaps in landscape beds and borders during the summer months and can be dramatic for mass planting, producing big airy clouds of tiny lilac flowers and is suitable for cottage gardens, perennial gardens and butterfly gardens. This plant type will attract an abundance of bees and butterflies to the garden in the late summer.
