Description:

The White Swan is a cultivated variety of the Echinacea purpurea plant, also known as purple coneflower.

These plants produce a long lasting display of large white flowers with bold orange centres from late July to early autumn, attracting pollinators from mid summer, particularly butterflies. The organic seed of the plant will also provide a healthy snack for birds.

A drought tolerant herbaceous perennial with elegant pure white petals and pointy leaves that is native to prairies and meadows but will also perform well in outdoor containers and pots.

Echinacea purpurea White Swan like its pink petalled sister also makes a wonderful cut flower.
