Description:
Organic Freesia bulbs produce fragrant, funnel-shaped flowers in vibrant hues (white, yellow, pink, purple, and orange). Native to South Africa, these tender perennials are prized for their long vase life and sweet scent. Grown from corms (bulb-like structures), they thrive in well-drained soil and prefer cool temperatures for optimal blooming. A gardeners favourite for their fragrance and perform well in pots and as a cut flower in floral and cut flower arrangements.
Additional Information & Planting instructions:
Freesia plants grow in full sun to partial shade in moist but well-drained soil. Plant freesia corms at a depth of 2-5cm, 5-10cm apart. Plant in the spring after risk of frost has passed. Reduce watering after blooming until foliage yellows. and cut back in autumn when the foliage has died down.
