Description: 

Easy to grow, this stunning red-black variety will bring beauty and elegance to the summer garden. With sumptuous velvety petals of deep crimson, their flowering time is usually between 2-3 weeks, 60-90 days after planting. To extend the flowering period, try planting a clutch of corms every 10-14 days after risk of frost has passed.

Gladioli are the gladiators of summer flower arrangements, a cut flower with height, dramatic blosoms, spectacular colours and unrivalled architectural form and stature.

Additional Information & Planting Instructions:

For a long lasting floral display, plant gladioli corms in the spring in well-drained soil, adding a little organic compost to improve consistency if necessary. Gladioli delight in sunshine, preferring between 6-8 hours so be sure to find a sun drenched spot.

They will root, grow and bloom from 60-90 days after planting. Once the flowering season is over corms can be covered with a good mulch to preserve and protect over the winter months.
